Thanksgiving in Style

Hello and welcome back to Native Styling!

Happy Thanksgiving! It’s America’s favorite holiday, or at least, we’d like to think so. It is definitely a special one, one where we have to reflect on our relationships with others. Where we have to reflect on who we have to thank, and remember what we do have. It is not so much about ownership, but more so about how we treat things and people. We feel like it is the perfect holiday to think about sustainable fashion and what we are currently doing to our planet.

After all, what better way to say thanks to the world than diving into sustainability?! You might be planning on going to Friendsgiving at a restaurant with your girlfriends. Or you might be doing a more traditional dinner with family. Whatever it is, what you will be wearing, matters.

Not only will guests be looking at your outfit, but it also needs to speak a strong message. It needs to give thanks back to the people who make the pieces you will be wearing. It is now or never the time to create outfits that you can be proud of and share a connection with your makers.

If you don’t want to be doing the heavy work, however, feel free to wear some of these outfits that will love you and our planet!

Here are great outfit combinations that will help you say thank you in the right way:

1. Comfort Is Everything

Dress, Jacket, Belt, Shoes, Necklace

2. Edgy Boho Babe

Dress, Jacket, Shoes, Scarf, Necklace, Handbag

3. Queen Of The Party

Top, Skirt, Coat, Backpack, Shoes, Earrings, Necklace, Lipstick

4. Hold My Bag, Please

Bodysuit, Pants, Coat, Shoes, Clutch, Earrings

5. Oh, I Just Came From The Market

Top, Jeans, Kimono, Sneakers, Handbag, Earrings, Sunglasses

What did you think of those Thanksgiving outfits? What do you have to be thankful for this year? If sustainability hasn’t really been on your mind, are you thinking about it now? Let us know in the comments below and we will see you next week for another Native Styling post!
